Master Bath Remodel by DGR Interior Designs

I am so excited to share my newest project, a master bath remodel. This master bathroom had a nice size shower, but the built in Jacuzzi tub was too difficult to climb into and my client did not like the entrance to the master closet in the bathroom. There was also a door next to the water closet that entered to a guest bedroom! See the whole progression here with the before and after images. This wonderful project did not end here, stay tuned for the master bedroom and master closet remodel.

We enlarged the shower and added a built in seat.

After gutting the bathroom, we closed up the door to the guest room and the master closet
and created the closet entrance in the Master Bedroom.

We put in a brick wall for texture as a backdrop to the new vanity.photo 3

My client wanted a warmer, more rustic decor in the Master Bath.
Here are some of the design elements I found to incorporate to give her that feeling.
A large double sink vanity and 2 cabinets  for storage in drifted oak with angeled louver doors.

The floor is done in porcelain designed to mimic rustic wood flooring but much more practical in a bathroom.

The sconces are designed to replicate vintage elevator indicator lights.

The sink, tub & shower faucets and the cup & soap holders are Classic Victorian designs with a Modern sensibility.

My client fell in love with the unique shape of this towel warmer.

I just love the claw foot tub I found with the chrome feet to coordinate with the other fixtures in the room.

But my favorite element is the hammered chrome sinks!!

So here it is! The finished Master Bath, complete with a birdcage chandelier!
Let me know if you have a bathroom that needs a makeover.
