Noble Company Acquired
CLEVELAND – Noble Company, a longtime manufacturer of membranes and tile-installation accessories, is now part of Federal Process Corp. (FPC)
FBC acquired Noble, a leading American manufacturer of premium-quality building products within the tile, plumbing, heating/cooling and fire sprinkler industries, in Feburary.
Noble Company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Spring Lake, Mich., with manufacturing facilities there and in Baton Rouge, La. BlueWater Partners of Grand Rapids, Mich., advised Noble Company in the transaction.
The acquisition adds manufacturing and product depth to FPC’s portfolio, said Jon Outcalt Jr., FPC’s president.

Other Federal Process companies include Gasoila® Chemicals, which offers a diverse line of premium chemical and related products used in the petroleum, plumbing, LP gas, HVAC, automotive, and general industrial markets; JB Products™, a leading manufacturer of specialty plastic plumbing; and FedChem™, a worldwide manufacturer of aluminum organic chemicals for use in the grease, building and ink industries.
Noble manufactures premium-quality sheet membranes and shower elements for tile installation, including waterproofing membranes, linear drains, niches/benches, pre-slopes, shower bases, adhesives and sealants for the plumbing and tile industries. It also offers engineered antifreeze/heat transfer fluids and accessories for heating/cooling and freeze protection for fire-sprinkler systems

No changes are anticipated in the operation of existing Noble facilities. Bloomberg and Kik will remain with the business. Bloomberg will assume the role of chief operating officer. and Kik will stay on indefinitely as a senior advisor.
