This week Tile Addict is taking a look at ten stunning new ranges from Ceramics of Italy members that we are likely to see next week at Coverings.
Today we’re talking marble. Two companies highlight the beauty and elegance of natural marble in their new collections. In Imperial Michelangelo, NovaBell provides interpretations of four marbles which have been key elements in design and architecture throughout the ages.
In three pure whites and a simple grey, the natural veining provides contrast and light play in these fine porcelain tiles. They are available in a polished and natural finish and are suitable for both walls and floors. They come in four sizes (600 by 1,200mm, 600 by 600mm, 300 by 600mm, 75 by 300mm or 32 by 64in, 32 by 32in, 16 by 32in, and 3 by 16in). Additional decor elements complete the collection.
From Florim, one of Italy’s foremost tile groups, the inspiration for the new Étoile de Rex collection comes from rare marbles from distinct regions including Italy and Brazil. With thanks to cutting-edge production technology, natural variety can be preserved and the seven offered colours are careful imitations of the real thing.
Of the seven colours, four are available in traditional sizes, as well as Florim Magnum Oversize. The other three colours are only available in the XXL sizes of 600 by 2,400mm, 1,200 by 2,400mm, 600 by 1,200mm, and 1,200 by 1,200mm or 32 by 128in, 64 by 128in, 32 by 64in and 64 by 64in).
