My colleagues at Kick-Start Publishing, for whom I edit Tile & Stone Journal, are hosting a launch party for Kick-Start’s latest publication The Specifier’s Guide to Flooring. This will be held at the Shaw Carpets Showroom in Clerkenwell, London, on Wednesday 23rd May from 4pm to 7pm. The Specifier’s Guide to Flooring has a similar ethos to the highly successful Specifier’s Guide to Tiling & Calibrated Natural Stone, and will be an annual sister publication to Contract Flooring Journal.
The launch party takes place during Clerkenwell Design Week: the surface sector’s annual combined street party and design event. At CDW, many flooring and surface showrooms have an open door policy, so Clerkenwell is well worth a visit during the day. Clerkenwell’s surface showrooms are incredibly impressive and include British Ceramic Tile, Caesar, Domus, Marazzi, Designworks Tiles, Pentagon Tiles, Porcelanosa, Solus Ceramics, Mapei, Mosa, Hansgrohe, Shaw, Interface, Bolon, Brintons, Marlings, Treads, Forbo, Altro, Havwoods, Kahrs, Duraflor, Headlam, Tarkett Desso, Milliken, Ege, and Boen, to name but a few.
