New Marble & Mother of Pearl Mosaics in the Twin Cities

Cosa Marble Co. has been producing distinctive, high quality tiles for years. They have recently added eight new mosaic patterns to their collection. All eight styles are currently on display in our showroom at Rubble Tile. Come take a look, and read about them here first!

Chevron & Iris

Chevron and Iris are two new mosaic patterns that feature clean, linear angles. Chevron offers neat, straight lines in a variety of stone colors, including Asian Statuary, Mother of Pearl, Pacific Pewter, and Cinderella Gray, Snow White, and Crema Marfil. Combine multiple colors or use a more classic, monochromatic mosaic–either way, Chevron is eye-catching and stylish.

Compared to Chevron, Iris uses a more contoured shape to remind us of flower petals or leaves on a plant. Its delicate shape is perfect for walls or low traffic floors. The subtle curves of Iris will draw the viewer’s eye and add an intricate flair to your space.

Tulare & Bel Aire

Tulare and Bel Aire are two new mosaics that can be laid out to create large repeating shapes. Both can be used as wall or floor tiles, having a unique visual effect when placed together. Tulare creates an elegant pattern reminiscent of the geometry of flowers, while adding brightness to any space.

The repeating pattern of Bel Aire is more angular and geometric than Tulare. The Bel Aire mosaic is detailed and neat, lining up squares with octagons and concentric circles. The many shapes and details of Bel Aire provide any surface with an interesting visual fulness.

Both mosaics are available in an assortment of colors and combinations such as Asian Statuary, Crema Marfil, and Zen Gray.

Estrella & Delano

Both Estrella & Delano make use of loops, curves, and links to create visually stunning mosaics. Estrella is an understated water jet pattern of intersecting and overlapping curved lines. The linking effect created by these curves is mesmerizing and understated at the same time.

Delano also consists of intersecting loops and curls, but is more visually intricate than Estrella. With curves and loops that intersect in different directions, Delano creates complex and elegant patterns. Both tile options are perfect for either walls or floors. No matter where you place them, these mosaics are sure to captivate the eye.

The Honey Comb and Monticello mosaics consist of a repeating geometric shape with a unique flair. When laid together on a floor or wall, Honey Comb creates a field of repeating hexagons. The shape is modern yet classic, and its effect is orderly and striking–it adds depth to your designs.
