When Size Matters...

....And a king bed is simply too small, here is an option to consider.....The  EXTREME UltraKing beds!

These beds are for people who don't think a King is big enough....Which sometimes quite frankly is me, when it's just me and my hubby no biggie, but when Calvin our dog climbs in with us (he may only weigh 55 lbs but he stretches to 6' and is all legs, need I say more?)

Of course they hail from Las Vegas but you know they could've hailed from Texas too where everything is bigger.

(Woman from picture optional...JUST KIDDING, but this woman in the picture gives you a  better idea of just how HUGE these beds are?)

Check out who has this bed here. Which for the most part makes perfect sense, NBA and NFL players...I am surprised that Hugh Hefner who doesn't seem to leave his bed much, isn't listed on here as having one.  But on a serious note, really being 5'9 1/2" I have slept in beds that were too short and were very uncomfortable, so I can only imagine how being well over 6' would be for sleeping in most beds.

On their site, you can buy everything from the actual bed to the mattress right down to the giant bedding.

I just realized something...Making this bed would be a BIG chore and even bigger than that would be getting the sheets into my washing machine and dryer, now how does that work?  Multiple loads?

What do you think?  Are you or someone you know in need of some extra space and could use a UltraKing?

I had NO clue they even made beds that big lol! I think most people would have to put that big of a bed in their living room or have a house built with that bed in mind. I know there's no way I could fit it in my room and any furniture in there as well. But it would be nice for when our boxer decides she wants to sleep with us, haha!

This is too much unless you are a giant! :) I agree with you, Marie, would not want to wash, dry.... or even make up a bed this size!

We have a regular king size bed now and it doesn't seem big enough. Our dogs jump up and sleep on the bed also. one is a 70lb golden retriever and the other is a 75lb shepherd chow mix. our golden likes to spread out so I never have enough room.

Think they are awesome for someone who has the room! But can you even imagine lifting the duvet or comforter for one of those - thinking about it just makes my arms hurt!

Marie, I think your dog deserves his own comfortable bed, don't you?

no way! it's way too much... special sheets etc. and then you need a super heavy duty washing machine to do the big load of laundry required for clean sheets, unless you want to do 3 loads when you change the sheets! It just sounds like work to me :)

Hugh Heffner NEEDS a bed that big -- I just need nicer sheets and a new comforter.

Easy to please. That's me. :D

Just stopping by to thank you kindly for visiting me on my SITS day on Friday! :)

Unbelievable! HaHa! I have a regular "old" king sized bed and have a hard time finding my husband in it... I definitely wouldn't want anything larger!!

Holy WOW! That is the hugest bed ever. So far our king is making us very, very happy :) When we had a queen I thought I was going to die! Way too much interaction in the middle of the night! I DO not want to be woken up with limbs flailing around me : )

We have a CA King which we love. My son would adore this bed. He is pushing 6' 9" and is always complaining about the size of beds. But I don't think it would fit in their bedroom! Cool post! Visiting from SITS!
