Dow Corning will join forces with local experts to examine challenges, trends and recent innovation in high performance building at a seminar and networking event entitled ‘Building Facades – A Changing Trend’, at The Kingsbury, Colombo on 23rd February 2015.
Jean-Paul Hautekeer, Global Marketing Director, will present 'Silicone Contribution to Sustainable Architecture'. This will focus on Dow Corning's proven range of structural bonding sealants and adhesives used in the construction of curtain wall facades and speciality chemicals for improving water repellency and protection of common building substrates. Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about recent innovation such as Dow Corning® Transparent Silicone Structural Adhesive (TSSA), for crystal clear bonding of point fixed glass facades. This breakthrough technology helps to maximize thermal efficiency and allows unique design possibilities with almost invisible bonding points.
