U.S. and Canadian homebuilders who provided their customers with the best purchase and ownership experiences -- according to surveyed homebuyers -- have been honored in the 2015 Eliant Homebuyers' Choice Awards competition.
The winning builders were chosen based on the results of more than 72,700 surveys which were administered in 2014 to all recent home owners from 128 major homebuilders across the U.S. and Canada. These forty three home builders were recognized for their excellence in one or more customer-experience categories. Builders with the most Premier awards (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place) include: Benchmark Communities (10 awards); MBK Homes (5); Minto Florida (5). Builders with four awards included Brookfield Residential, GL Homes, Robson Communities, The New Home Company, and TRI Pointe Homes.
MBK Homes was voted the top-rated single-division builder in North America by homeowners for the second consecutive year. In the Large Builder segment, MBK Homes was also honored with First Place awards for Purchase Experience, Design Selection Experience, and the Construction Experience.
The New Home Company earned the top rating of all multi-divisional home builders for the third year in a row and received a total of five Premier awards.
The Olson Company continued its historically strong performance among Large Builders with a First Place ranking for First-Year Customer Service Experience. Matt Savio, SVP of The Olson Company, was named Eliant's Customer Experience Manager of the Year.
Robson Communities received four First Place Awards (Hi-Volume Builders): Design Selection, Construction Experience, Overall First-Year Quality, and First-Year Customer Service.
Tim Lewis Homes (Silver Crest Homes division, Medium Builders) earned awards in seven categories, including a number one ranking for the Design Selection Experience.
TRI Pointe Homes, with three of its divisions earning "Premier-level" awards, also earned a third-place in the "Best Overall Purchase & Ownership Experience" among all multi-divisional builders.
Brookfield Residential garnered "Premier" awards in four categories, including a first-place for the Purchase Experience (High-Volume segment).
