White, Ga.—Beauflor USA’s first product introduction of 2020 is Metro+. This crafted sheet vinyl collection is a “refresh” of the company’s current “Metro” collection with new visuals and a new construction.

The Metro+ collection features 16 diverse wood, tile and stone designs. The wood looks include both wide and narrow format planks and the tile looks include both 10 x 10-inch and 16 x 16-inch tiles. The stone looks feature a solid design and a unique broken stone design that fit into contemporary interior trends. The color palette was based off of 2020 color trends.

Metro+ features the company’s patent pending technology NaturQuest, which is used to create a more natural look and realistic texture. According to Beauflor USA, this technology adds an innovative top foam layer and puts the product through a new processing technique that allows for deeper inhibition and enhances the emboss-in-register effect. Metro+ also has a polyurethane lacquer finish that protects the top layer and adds extra durability and stain resistance.

What’s more, Metro+ can now be installed as a loose lay up to 225 square feet. This means the installer now can install the product faster and without the use of adhesives. If desired, or if the space is larger than the set parameters, the installer also has the option to directly glue down the product.

Metro+ will inherit some of the same technical specifications of its predecessor, Metro. It will continue to be a 55-gauge product with a wear layer thickness of 10 mil and roll width of 12 feet. Metro+ will also feature a PowerBac backing layer, which aims to add more underfoot comfort and sound absorption. Metro+ is manufactured in the USA and FloorScore certified.
