Taylor Adhesives launches new app

Dalton—As part of Taylor Adhesives’ promise to be “with you every step,” the brand has introduced an app that is now available for free download on both Apple and Android smartphones. Development began in late 2019 and complements the company’s new website.

“Taylor is committed to developing best-in-class support tools to reinforce our best-in-class products,” said Paul Murfin, president, Taylor. “We are working hard to develop common sense, easy-to-use tools such as our new catalog, our updated website and this new app. The new app is an invaluable resource for salespeople, installers and contractors, especially if they are in the field and don’t have easy access to a computer.”

Taylor designed the app so that it will be fully functional, regardless of access to a WIFI hot-spot or cell tower—which can be an issue on some installation job sites. According to Taylor, once the app is downloaded to the device all of the documents are loaded and easily accessible. The initial phase of the app contains over 100 technical data and Safety Data Sheets, the complete 2020 product catalog, product selector tool, installation videos and easy contact to technical and customer service support.

“We are already finishing up our first round of updates, including social media links, product warranties and much more,” said Seth Gladden, marketing director and chief architect for the app. “Everyone who has seen the app is impressed with its functionality and how much it offers.”
