Export, Pa.—Karndean Designflooring will unveil more than 40 new colors spanning four product ranges at The International Surface Event (TISE), held Jan. 28-30 in Las Vegas. These new visuals, each with a unique history and story, allow flooring retailers to offer a balanced selection of in-demand Karndean Designflooring visuals.

Following are the products TISE attendees can expect to see:

Karndean’s Heritage collection denotes products that embody the pinnacle of designed flooring. Available in classic monochromatic and bold modern color schemes, these designs are intended for skilled flooring mechanics, as the individual geometric tiles form intricate patterns when assembled. The collection launches with two new designs, Clifton and Mayfair, from the Opus 20-mil gluedown range that combine the character of Victorian-period interiors with geometric patterned designs.

Additional new Opus stones include patterned tiles that combine traditional Moroccan architecture with non-uniform geometrics. Marrakesh possesses a mix of warm, earthy color tones for a playful look, while Casablanca incorporates a monochromatic palette of grays.

The premier and award-winning 20-mil Korlok Select rigid core range expands in 2020 to include stone visuals developed from marble, slate, limestone and terracotta, along with stenciled patterns. Karndean Designflooring offers these click-locking tiles with pre-attached grout, but in a low-maintenance format that will not stain or discolor.

Thirteen familiar wood and stone designs from the 12-mil Knight Tile gluedown range will be available in additional rigid core specification, combining the visuals of the gluedown format with waterproof K-Core technology, acoustic properties (ΔIIC 22dB) and floating installation of Karndean rigid core floors. With the addition of this entry-level range, retailers can offer Karndean rigid core products across multiple price points.

The non-interlocking Karndean LooseLay floating floor range gains eight new stone visuals designed for Main Street and large commercial applications. These distinctive designs replicate the in-demand looks of travertine, honed concrete and slate in a 20-mil format that does not require a full spread of adhesive due to the product’s innovative K-Wave friction grip backing. This range is notable for its multi-directional planks, speedy install time, acoustic properties (ΔIIC 16dB) and individually replaceable tiles.
