Ceramics of Italy has extended the deadline for its 2020 Tile Competition. Those interested in participating now have till Jan. 31 to submit their commercial, residential, institutional and student projects.

Now in its 27th year, this annual competition awards top North American architects, designers and students for their impressive work and creative use of Italian ceramic and porcelain tile. Winners will be notified in March and announced at the Ceramics of Italy International Press Conference in New Orleans at Coverings 2020 (April 20-23).

Built project winners will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Coverings, $2,000 cash, plus a five-day CEU trip to Bologna, Italy for Cersaie 2020. Public voting for the first-ever People’s Choice Award will begin on Feb. 3.
