Woodbury, N.Y.—Stanton Carpet Corporation has appointment of Deb Tippett to the newly created role of regional vice president, hard surface, for the South-Central region. In this role, Tippett will assume sales responsibility and reporting for Stanton’s hard surface business. She will report to Jamann Stepp, senior vice president of hard surface.
“Stanton is deeply committed to accelerating its hard surface business,” Stepp said. “We’re thrilled to have Deb join the Stanton team and confident that her experience, leadership and passion for the business, coupled with Stanton’s seasoned, hardworking sales team, will accomplish the goals set forth.”
Tippett added, “I am extremely excited to join the Stanton team and look forward to leveraging my experience to grow our hard surface business and footprint in the South Central Region.”
Since entering hard surface in early 2020, Stanton has experienced strong growth and said it is positioned to continue winning market share with innovative designs, colors and product categories. With the acquisition of Floors 2000 in August 2022, Stanton doubled down on its LVP offering, adding ceramic and porcelain tile to its portfolio.
Most recently, Tippett was in the role of regional sales director for the South-Central region for The Dixie Group. Prior to TDG, she was part of the USFloors/COREtec team, both before and after Shaw’s acquisition.
