Cartersville, Ga.—Patcraft, a leader in high-performance commercial flooring, has introduced Inspired Connection, a colorpoint carpet tile and broadloom collection designed to create connected and cohesive spaces.

Featuring bold visuals with textural luxe and warm colorways, the collection aims to inspire creative design to enhance connectivity and enliven spaces. Inspired Connection has been designed to support the intersection between the physical and experiential space within the built environment, further promoting emotional connection to spaces akin to home, the company said.

“The initial vision for the collection was inspired by the importance of connectivity in creating a sense of belonging and well-being for the people who experience a space,” said Linnzi Rich, product designer for Patcraft. “During the product development process, we conducted a nationwide listening tour to gather market insights and customer feedback as we considered market needs, patterns and colorways. These informative sessions truly inspired the collection.”

Offered in four, 18 x 36 carpet tiles and two broadloom styles, the collection’s soft, familiar textures are accented by shifts in color that are gently woven throughout the scaled pattern:

  • Enliven, available in broadloom and carpet tile, features a mixture of large and medium size patterning.
  • Harmonious features small scale, abstract texture.
  • Influence carpet tile is a medium-scale grid, which is ideal for color blocking.
  • Restored carpet tile features a multi-directional cross hatch pattern.

Overall, the collection incorporates exaggerated textures and warm, soothing colors that are used to evoke a sense of comfort and well-being. “The collection’s aesthetic is reminiscent of home and designed for comfort and connection—a trend that we will continue to see,” said Shannon Cochran, vice president of creative and design for Patcraft. “Within the built environment, a desire for connectivity and a prioritization of wellness, mindfulness and balance will be increasingly important as we embrace our changing situations and design both existing spaces and the spaces of the future.”

Within the collection, the modular styles are constructed with Eco Solution Q nylon and EcoWorx backing, and they are Cradle to Cradle Certified Silver. The broadloom styles are constructed with Eco Solution Q nylon and feature an Ultraloc backing. All products are backed with limited lifetime warranties against stain, colorfastness to light, static and abrasive wear for maximum performance and appearance retention.
