PVTLancaster, Pa.—Ecore introduced its first performance vinyl tile (PVT) offering, Heritage Motivate—a new high-performance flooring. According to the company, Heritage Motivate was designed to be safer, quieter and more ergonomic than traditional LVT products.

This PVT line features a fiberglass reinforced, 2mm vinyl surface layer bonded to a 5mm vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) base layer. The 21-mil wear layer provides commercial-grade durability paired with in-demand looks of realistic wood. According to the company, the true-to-life visuals of the surface layer offer natural wood variation among the planks for an authentic woodgrain look with backing by a Motivate base layer to provide excellent safety and ergonomic performance.

“We’ve created a vinyl tile product that simply performs better,” said Bo Barber, executive vice president of sales and marketing, Ecore. “With Heritage Motivate, you get realistic wood visuals with the same, exceptional Ecore performance you expect but in plank format. This groundbreaking new offering is sure to be a transformative product in the flooring industry.”

This PVT line is safer and more ergonomic than traditional LVT products, according to Ecore, with an absorption of impact energy (force reduction) of 10.6% and a useful return of impact energy (energy restitution) of 66.7%.

Heritage Motivate is available in 10 natural wood tones and is ideal for a full range of interior applications from health and wellness facilities to offices, education and fitness spaces and it is easy clean and maintain as well as install.
