Atlanta, Ga.—The latest carpet tile collection from Interface, Granite Mountain, takes biophilic design to new heights, according to the company. The collection features eight carpet tiles in various shades of warm gray and earth tones.
Designed by David Oakey of David Oakey Designs, Granite Mountain is inspired by Oakey’s outdoor excursions during the pandemic to an area that once served as a granite quarry.
Rock Springs, Mantle Rock and Rockland Road are simpler patterns that gradually increase in texture and plushness, making them ideal for large areas, according to the company. Flat Rock, Mountain Rock and Bridge Creek show heightened textures and more defined patterns.
According to the company, visuals peak with the metallic luster of Mile Rock and Panola Mountain, while You’re So Vein, a companion product from Interface’s consumer brand, FLOR, delivers a marbled look.
Like all Interface flooring products, the company said the Granite Mountain carpet tile collection is carbon neutral across its full product life cycle through the company’s third-party verified Carbon Neutral Floors program.
