Dalton—Taylor Adhesives introduced a moisture-cured, low-odor urethane adhesive for wood flooring installation called Timberline.

Coming in 3.5-gallon metal pails, Timberline features a strong, elastomeric bond, fast-grab and non-slump characteristics for easy installation, as well as low VOCs. Coverage is 35 to 180 sf/gallon, depending on application and trowel size used. All types of wood flooring can be installed with Timberline, along with recycled rubber, cork flooring and bamboo (not strand woven).

“In line with our brand reputation, we listened to the needs of our distributor partners,” said Paul Murfin, president of Taylor. “Many dealers and contractors still use urethane adhesives for their wood flooring installations, so we decided to offer the best one you can buy.”

Timberline is in production now and will begin distribution almost immediately—hitting shelves by mid-October, according to Tim Riley, director of U.S. distribution for Taylor. “This is the first of several new introductions for us in the coming months,” he added.
