The International Certified Flooring Installers Association Inc. (CFI), has launched a new publication for its members titled The Flooring Specialist.

Kimberly Oderkirk, president of Association Services will serve as senior editor and will handle the editorial aspect of the new digital magazine. The Flooring Specialist, a quarterly magazine, will contain installation articles on carpet, hardwood, ceramic, resilient, laminate, specialty flooring, tools, adhesives, project management and jobsite safety—all written by installers and manufacturers in the industry.

“I am excited to be part of this new endeavor with CFI to add to their installation education for their members along with spearheading great editorial content for the flooring industry,” said Oderkirk.

Robert Varden, vice president of CFI, added, “This has been one of my strategic initiatives for CFI and with Kim’s experience, we are looking forward to add this great member benefit for our CFI family.”

Working with CFI and Association Services will be JG Media Group who will design and publish the magazine. Look for the first issue to be available in September.
