Learn & LiveCalhoun, Ga.—Mohawk Group expanded its Learn & Live collection with Taking Steps, comprised of three versatile 24 x 24 modular carpet styles.

“Learn & Live draws its inspiration from queues found within a fascinating design study around biophilic concepts of complexity and order,” said Jackie Dettmar, Mohawk Group’s vice president of marketing, design and product development. “The research links the incorporation of these ideas into the built environment to increased collaboration, creativity and social interaction, as well as a reduction of negative behavior. Using this concept as the basis for inspiring learning spaces, Learn & Live can enhance the learning experience.”

Taking Steps provides worry-free solutions with:

  • Fast delivery: Quickship availability on all styles and colors.
  • Maintenance friendly and long-term performance: Made with Duracolor Tricor premium nylon, EcoFlex NXT backing and proven construction for superior performance in heavy-traffic interiors that is less costly to maintain.
  • Easy to install: Mergeable dye lots, multi-directional installation and the FlexLok tab system eliminate the need for wet adhesives and greatly reduces downtime.
  • Simple to use: Three distinct patterns and scales can be used among different areas in the space.

In addition to these solutions, each style comes in a versatile range of nine colorways. Motivated Movement is a larger-scale bold geometric, Necessary Action is a classic smaller-scale grid, Adopt a Plan comes in at the middle with an interesting geometric that incorporates a slight abstract twist.

“Not only is the collection multifaceted, but it is environmentally friendly too,” Dettmar said. “As a part of the Living Product Challenge, Mohawk Group is here to do our part to conserve resources and preserve the environment. We are proud to say that the Taking Steps collection is Net Positive for both carbon and water and achieves Living Petal Certification from the International Living Future Institute by complying with multiple imperatives.”
