Rockwell Group’s multi-family residential winning project from the 2021 Tile Competition

New York, N.Y.—As of Nov. 30, Confindustria Ceramica & the Italian Trade Agency opened submissions for the 2022 Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition.

The longest-running awards program of its kind, according to show organizers, honors North American architects and designers for their innovative and creative application of Italian tile with past winners including prestigious firms like Rockwell Group, Gow Hastings and Taller Ken. This year, a jury will select winners in four built categories—commercial, institutional, residential (single-family) and residential (multi-family) as well as one student category.

According to the companies, winners of the 2022 edition receive a trip to Las Vegas for Coverings 2022 with the opportunity to present their projects in front of architecture and design media. In addition, built project winners receive a $1,500 cash prize and a CEU-accredited trip to Cersaie 2022 next Sept. in Bologna, Italy.

The deadline to enter is Jan. 7, 2022. Submit entry form here.
