Natural Stone Academy, Architectural Record Partner

OBERLIN, Ohio – The Natural Stone Academy will receive a boost in the architectural community, courtesy of a year-long partnership between the Natural Stone Institute and Architectural Record magazine.

The cooperation will present the Academy, an interactive continuing-education platform featuring articles and webinars about natural stone, to architects, designers and other allied professionals among the Record’s 93,000 readers.

Along with stone- industry professionals, the group can take courses in the Academy to earn CEU credits. Individuals who complete all courses will receive a special badge.

There are seven courses available in the Academy, covering the following topics:

Anchorage systems for natural stone cladding;
Specifying natural stone;
Residential design;
Landmark design;
Design strategies:
Rnduring allure of working with natural stone; and
NSC 373 sustainability standard.

Since launching in September, over 1,500 individuals have completed courses through the Natural Stone Academy.
