Congoleum Alternatives VCT

Manteca, Calif.—The B.R. Funsten and Tom Duffy Company has entered a distribution partnership with Congoleum and will begin to offer its Alternatives VCT (vinyl composition tile) in early August. The Alternatives portfolio offers traditional 12 x 12 tiles composed of 80% durable limestone.

“The success of the Congoleum brand is a direct result of the loyal and professional distribution partners representing our products every day,” said Keith Anderson, senior vice president. “B.R. Funsten is an industry leader, providing best-in-class service with high integrity and professionalism across the organization. We are very proud to announce this new partnership and the opportunities that lie ahead.”

Alternatives VCT is manufactured to perform beautifully under the highest traffic, highest maintenance conditions, the company said. Whether in neutrals, pastels or saturated vibrant colors, Alternatives VCT is fashionable, tough and economical.

“We are always looking at new opportunities to expand our portfolio of products and we are excited to partner with Congoleum to bring this high-quality, American-made VCT to our customers in California, Nevada and Arizona,” said Anne Funsten, B.R. Funsten president. “With the durability and appealing color palette of the product, combined with our ability to sell through our commercial and Main Street channels, in addition to all 29 Tom Duffy branch locations, we have high expectations for growth.”
