ArkansasCalhoun, Ga.—Mohawk Group, in collaboration with Equalis Group, a national public sector purchasing cooperative, has secured another powerful partnership with the adoption of the contract for Commercial Flooring Materials with Installation and Related Services by the state of Arkansas. According to Mohawk, this publicly procured contract award from the Cooperative Council of Governments (CCOG), an Equalis Group lead agency, demonstrates Mohawk’s commitment to delivering high-quality flooring solutions to public agencies across the country.

This contract was procured and awarded in accordance with the requirements of 2-C.F.R. Part 200, commonly referred to as “Uniform Guidance”. Why is that important? Because public sector entities receiving federal grant and award dollars can typically spend those dollars through Equalis Group’s already-procured contracts without having to conduct their own bid or request for proposals (RFP).
