Mountville, Pa.— AHF Products has announced it will increase prices on select hardwood and vinyl flooring products in the U.S. and Canada effective starting on orders placed on April 26, 2021.
“We are continuing to experience extraordinary raw material cost inflation on key hardwood flooring components, including lumber, veneers and core materials, which we expect to persist,” said Chris King, vice president-sales, AHF Products. “As a result, we find it necessary to increase prices on certain products.”
Wood product increases average:
- 7%-13% on engineered hardwood products produced in the U.S. and Asia (excluding Cambodia), with a $0.20 minimum increase per square foot.
- 8%-10.5% across solid hardwood products, with a $0.25 minimum increase per square foot.
Vinyl increases average:
- 10% on Classic SPC products (Bruce LifeSeal Classic and Hartco Everguard Classic) out of Cambodia
- 8% across Trending SPC products (Bruce LifeSeal Trending and Hartco Everguard Trending) out of Cambodia
There is no price increase at this time for Hartco Contract or Bruce LifeSeal Reserve products, which are manufactured in China.
“We understand the effort and nimbleness required to manage through these difficult changes and we appreciate our customers’ support of AHF Products now more than ever,” King said. “We are doing everything we can to keep customers serviced through this amazing season of tremendous demand and extraordinary constraints.”
