Hammond, La.—RollMaster Software, one of the top ranked flooring-specific business management software companies in the U.S. and Canada, has launched another productivity-boosting mobile app titled RollMaster E-Doc.

This is a free download for RollMaster customer’s currently using the popular Electronic Document Storage integration for virtually storing thousands of important images and files by department. It is available in the Apple and Android app stores.

“Our E-Docs feature has for many years featured convenient virtual storage of all accompanying paperwork related to each job and customer, and the Mobile E-Docs App now makes it more convenient to scan or take a photo with your mobile device and instantly upload to the core System,” said Kelly Oechslin, product marketing manager for RollMaster Software.

Previously an image or document needed to reside on a laptop or computer before it could be imported into the E-Docs program. Now, using a mobile device and the app, snapping a quick photo will instantly add the file into the core RollMaster System. The photo is immediately filed safely in the RollMaster cloud, where it is always available for anyone logged in to see and take action if needed.

“After initial testing with some beta clients, we’ve found that the app helps significantly in the warehouse with documenting damaged goods or snapping photos of items prior to shipping and out on job sites for attaching sales contracts and documenting inspection or repair issues, but more uses will become apparent as our client’s increase their usage and get creative with the technology,” Oechslin added. “That’s when we really get excited, seeing our clients adopt and enjoy our product offerings.”
