The latest of these posts comes from our good friends in Brazil, Ceramica Porto Ferreira.  Sales supremo Alda Fontana has selected three of the company’s latest ranges to highlight.  The first is Vetro Marino.  This collection of reactive-glaze effect tiles was inspired by the strength and textural richness of  Vietnamese ceramics.  Famed for its brilliant appearance and incomparable resistance, it is marked by small imperfections – the result of reactions between clay and glaze – that make each piece unique. Suitable for indoor, outdoor and even wet areas, Vetro Marino has a unique tactile appeal.

The second of Alda’s selections is Legno Marfim Hard.  Featuring natural tones and an interesting mixture of timber species, this wood-effect range simulates the cutting, treatments, and finishes that ennoble the reference material.  The subtle variation of tones in Legno Marfim Hard make this a quite timeless design with an industrial touch.

Finally, Alda has cast her spotlight on Quéops Cement.  Featuring pyramidal geometry this range explores the tonal harmony of a material that is utterly relevant to the history of most modern civilizations and at the vanguard of modern architecture.  In a mosaic form, it faithfully celebrates the timelessness of the material and the creativity to be found in hydraulic tiles in neutral tones
