2023 CID AwardsOrlando Fla.—Coverings, North America’s premier ceramic tile and natural stone event, will be extending its deadline for submitting top projects featuring tile and stone to the 2023 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards. The deadline is also extended for nominating a young emerging leader to the Coverings 2023 Rock Star program.

The new (and final) deadline to submit is Friday, Jan. 6, 2023. No additional extensions will be granted and there is no cost to participate.

The 2023 CID Awards are scheduled to take place here April 18-21, 2023, at the Orange County Convention Center, celebrating outstanding achievements in the design and installation of ceramic tile and stone in residential, commercial and institutional projects. Architects, designers, builders, contractors, distributors, retailers, installers and other industry professionals may submit their projects through the CID project submittal portal by Friday, Jan. 6, 2023.

Multiple national and international projects may be submitted free of charge via separate forms and all projects must have been completed between January 2021 and December 2022 for review eligibility. As always, multiple entries are accepted and there is no cost to enter.

CID winners will receive:

  • Projects displayed onsite at Coverings 2023
  • One-night stay (or equivalent gift card) at Coverings 2023
  • Recognition at CID Awards Reception during the show
  • Coverage in sponsored publications

If you know of a young industry talent that has a bright future in the tile and stone industry, nominate them to be a Coverings Rock Star. They must be 35 years or younger and currently working in the industry.

Rock Stars will receive:

  • Industry accolades
  • $200 gift card to spend at Coverings 2023
  • Recognition at Rock Star Awards during the show
  • Unique professional development opportunities
