Themes to spot at the Surface Design Show

The Surface Design Show is fast approaching and Tile of Spain have shared five themes to look out for amongst the leading Spanish brands.

Fine Lines

Faintly textured with matchstick stripes and three dimensional detail, Fine Lines offer subtle decor and perspective play whilst interacting with light and shadow for depth and finesse.

Faded Elegance

The wear and tear of well loved surfaces comes to the fore with Faded Elegance, a theme focused on appreciating traditional Spanish ceramics and handcrafted tiles. Modern processes allow for the best of both worlds, ensuring the easy maintenance, strength, and safety of today’s tile tech whilst offered an aged, antique look.

Triangles with a Twist

Angles aplenty with with countless tile takes on triangles. Patterns, patchworks, colour, contrast, and intricate layouts, Triangles with a Twist are touching every corner of surface design.

Terrific Terracotta

Never out of style and forever full of warmth, the classically Spanish tones of terracotta are still here in a big way. Fresh takes on this timeless material see it paired with textured detail and contemporary shapes whilst traditional applications still have space to shine.

From Wall to Floor

Seamlessly blending all aspects of interiors, hi-tech porcelain slabs replicate almost any material and finish, specifically manufactured to be placed any and everywhere, cohesively covering entire spaces.

The Surface Design Show will be held next month at The Business Design Centre, 52 Upper St, Islington, London from the 6th to the 8th February.
