HomeCommercialKährs to host offsite event during NeoCon 2023

KährsChicago—During the upcoming 2023 NeoCon Show, Kährs International will host an offsite event at Solita restaurant (previously the Pink Taco) around the corner from the Merchandise Mart and next to the Spartan Surfaces Showroom. Kährs will welcome guests on the second floor of the restaurant, displaying new products from its commercial and residential product lines, as well as offering food, drinks and headshots taken by a photographer. (Prior appointment for headshots required and can be coordinated with the Kährs Team.)

“We are excited to showcase our full Kährs commercial and residential offering by hosting this event and meeting with colleagues,” said Sean Brennan, Kährs U.S. president. “NeoCon is an exciting industry event, and we look forward to sharing our latest-and-greatest products with the interior design community. Our focus on producing and promoting sustainable products is second to none and we look forward to the opportunity to share our story with the NeoCon community.”

Products featured in the showroom will include both the Kährs residential products, such as its signature engineered flooring and luxury tile products, as well as well-known Kährs commercial products. Previously known as Upofloor, the Kährs commercial products include Quartz, Zero and Xpression. Plus, Kährs is launching a new kind of PVC-free hybrid floor called “Aware.” The Aware collection is made with bio-based materials such as HDF from recycled wood, recycled wine cork material and natural fibers and filler. These floors are completely free from PVC and are low-emission certified, promoting good indoor air quality. Thanks to the innovative layered design, the Aware collection offers durability that compares to vinyl floors, and are suitable for homes as well as commercial applications, including stores, hotels and restaurants.

Solita restaurant is located at 431 N Wells Street and the events include a Happy Hour on Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (drinks provided), and a full day on Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (food and drinks provided). Reach out to Emily Holmes-Williams, emily.holmes-williams@kahrs.com, to RSVP to the event or schedule a headshot appointment.
