Lancaster, Pa.—Ecore International has added a line of budget-friendly surfaces to its robust product portfolio. Designed for use in free weight, cardio, selectorized strength and functional training areas, the Essentials line is inspired by Ecore’s Basic Fit and Performance collections.

“Essentials is a low-maintenance flooring solution for fitness dealers and facility owners who may have previously hesitated to consider rubber flooring due to cost,” explained Bo Barber, Ecore’s chief growth and innovations officer. “Essentials empowers purchasers to transform and enhance their spaces without compromising their budget.”

Like all Ecore flooring products, Essentials is engineered to focus on ergonomics, acoustics and safety and offers a unique combination of durability, affordability, functionality and noise reduction. This economical solution is ideal for a variety of fitness applications, fusing comfort and safety and appealing to an even broader spectrum of customers. Its durability enables it to stand up to heavy foot traffic and weathering from workout equipment while its surface makes it exceptionally slip resistant in both wet and dry conditions.

The Essentials line is available in 3/8-inch vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) rolls or portable, easy-to-install interlocking tiles. With four popular colors to choose from—Black, Blue, Red and Grey—it provides owners with a variety of options for achieving their visions with the safety and performance qualities they have come to expect from Ecore.

“Since our inception, our flooring products have set a benchmark for aesthetics, performance and design flexibility within the industry,” Barber noted. “This newest addition underscores our enthusiasm to introduce our sought-after athletic surfaces to a broader audience, ensuring that rubber flooring is accessible at every price point.”
