Karndean at TISE 2022Export, Pa.—In its nearly 50-year history, Karndean Designflooring has been recognized for developing original luxury vinyl visuals. But at TISE 2022, the company said it aims to create a flooring design and style destination by incorporating the influence of overarching interior trends on designing floors.

Founder and owner of Two Chicks and a Hammer, home renovation expert, realtor and star of HGTV’s “Good Bones,” Mina Starsiak Hawk, will appear at the Karndean booth (2132) on Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. to unveil the latest designs and give an overview of 2022 trends, followed by a meet and greet with TISE 2022 show attendees.

The company said it will highlight floor styles perfect for 2022 interiors including more than 40 new designs and colors across its Korlok, Knight Tile and Opus ranges. New introductions to the Korlok ranges (Select and Reserve) capture the returning preference toward mid- and dark-warm woods, according to the company. New rigid core herringbone planks will be available in select colors.

“The ongoing pandemic has greatly impacted the motivations behind consumers’ design choices,” said Jenne Ross, director of marketing. “Our 2022 product designs not only fit today’s consumer needs, but have enduring style that homeowners will love for years to come.”

The company said it plans to completely revamp its entry-level Knight Tile 12-mil, glue-down range and incorporate new designs, which include new 48 x 9 chevron panels; light Scandinavian pines; natural, washed and limed oaks; and new stones that were developed from terrazzo and Carrara marble. In addition, Karndean will reintroduce the entire range in a rigid core format, allowing the homeowner to choose the design and color they love in the format that fits their needs, according to the company.

Attendees will get an exclusive preview of commercially focused, textile-inspired, painted, geometric and terrazzo visuals that will join the Opus 20-mil, glue-down range later in 2022.
