Dalton—Cubist art is the inspiration behind the latest collection from J+J Flooring. Based on the idea that art is not bound to copy, color, form, texture and space, the collection aims to embody movement with the inventive use of yarn creating a wash of color.

“This collection is really a story of color,” said Laura Holzer, carpet design manager at J+J Flooring. “The color offerings can be subtle to bold based on the use of the 3 available patterns.”

The collection includes three patterns: Analytic, which serves as a neutral base; Analytic Diffuse provides a modest amount of color; while Analytic Form features the most color. Used together, the patterns are effective at wayfinding and building brand/school identity using color. There are six colors offered on either a warm or neutral base. Constructed using precision color technology, colors combine to create an ombre pattern.

Cubist is built to perform across a variety of markets—education, retail, workplace and hospitality. The 18 x 36-inch tile creates a seamless floor through the innovative fiber construction. The collection was designed to work in tandem with other Kinetex and J+J LVT products, utilizing a cohesive color package across all platforms.
