Mineral CoreDalton—Shaw Floors has launched a new hard surfaces product, Pet Perfect Mineral Core, part of Shaw Floors’ Shop Your Lifestyle. Shop Your Way Active Pet Home lifestyle collection. Pet Perfect Mineral Core is designed specifically with durability and easy maintenance in mind, protecting floors from soil and scratches from the ground up.

Responding to high market demand, Shaw Floors has created the new collection for active homes with pets. “Around 85 million families in the U.S. own a pet and each year these same families collectively spend over $100 billion on their pets,” said Jeff Francis, director of category management for Shaw Floors hard surface. “When surveyed, consumers reported that pets are one of the most important considerations when purchasing new flooring. Between sharp claws and the occasional accident, homeowners need a floor that is going to last. We are excited to launch Pet Perfect Mineral Core specifically to meet those needs.”

The new collection offers deep scratch, stain and fade resistance through innovative finishes, and guarantees this protection with a 30-year residential scratch warranty. This collection is also waterproof, wet and steam mop approved and reduces the presence of 99.9% of e. coli and staph for up to 24 hours to keep floors clean no matter what life may throw at them. From active homes to specific pet needs, Pet Perfect Mineral Core provides the protection that both your customers and their pets can’t live without.

The styles are available in 9 x 86 and 7 x 48 length planks, respectively, and feature accented bevels and 20 wood-inspired color options. The new line also offers Shaw Floors’ 4P Protection from pee, poo, puke and paws.

Pet Perfect Mineral Core options will be available in July.
