Cali introduces Barrel hardwood collection

Cali BarrelSan Diego, Calif.—Cali introduced the Barrel Collection, luxury cuts of European white oak in beautiful, understated, neutral shades to give homes a refresh that will never go out of style.

“Barrel hits a sweet spot in the flooring space,” said Doug Jackson, Cali president. “We were very intentional with respect to design, color and pricing. The lighter palette is on trend and exactly what our customers want, and the value is designed to sway any floor-buying decision.”

Named for both the wine barrel and the barrel of a wave, the collection pays tribute to two distinct California cultures—wine valleys and surfing. With names like Sonoma Salt, Pacific Crush and Beach Town Blanc, the nine Barrel colors offer a blend of craftsmanship and coastal attitude.

Measuring 74-13/16 inches by 7-½ inches and 1/2-inch thick, Barrel planks are engineered and feature a 2mm plain sliced beauty layer of European white oak over a core of sustainable acacia wood. The eco-friendly design makes planks more dimensionally stable and enables four times as much flooring from each oak tree compared to solid wood.

Made to be easy to live on, Barrel planks are protected by a robust, scratch-resistant aluminum oxide finish, keeping them simple to clean and pet-friendly. This collection is tongue-and-groove milled for installation flexibility, and like all Cali wood floors, Barrel is backed by a 50-year residential and 15-year commercial warranty – one of the strongest warranties in the category. All timber is Lacey Act certified for healthy forests, and planks are low-VOC for healthy homes.
