Cali engineered bamboo flooring gets a refresh

HomeNewsCali engineered bamboo flooring gets a refresh

San Diego, Calif.—Cali, the omni-channel flooring and decking company, has added four new colors to its engineered bamboo flooring collection. Engineered planks feature a stratified design, layering solid bamboo over a sustainable wood core, according to the company.

The layered construction cuts down on natural expansion and contraction, boosting dimensional stability. According to Cali, this makes engineered bamboo an especially smart choice in challenging climates and high moisture spaces like kitchens, bathrooms and basements. Engineered planks also require approximately 60% less acclimation before installation, allowing for faster projects.

The new floors are made with click-lock milling which is ideal for glue-down or floating installations. A protective 13-coat scratch-resistant finish helps shield planks against wear and tear. The company said this makes it is easy to clean and prevents the need for refinishing thus, saving time and money down the road.

Planks are also ultra-low VOC and FloorScore certified, making them safe for families and pets, with adhesives that fall well below E0 emissions standards. Like all Cali bamboo flooring, the engineered collection is backed by a 50-year residential and a 15 year commercial warranty, even when installed below grade, according to the company.
