Mountville, Pa.— Parterre, a brand of AHF Products, has entered into a new distribution partnership with T&L Distributors, part of E.J. Welch Company. T&L will be the exclusive Parterre distributor in several southern states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and New Mexico. The partnership expands the presence of the Parterre brand across the southern part of the U.S. and enhances the commercial LVT portfolio for T&L.

“T&L brings tremendous relationships in the commercial specification business, and they have experienced specifier relationships throughout the region,” said Ralph Grogan, CEO of AHF’s Parterre business. “The T&L team, along with the breadth of the Parterre product portfolio, opens new opportunities for the A&D community in this region.”

Brent Harris, director of commercial sales at T&L/E.J. Welch, added, “Our team knows what the design community is seeking from an LVT standpoint, and Parterre products have the designs, quality and product depth to provide the solutions needed in today’s marketplace. Our team is looking forward to sharing so many exciting new products with our broad customer network.”

In September of 2020, E.J. Welch Company signed a letter of intent to acquire controlling interest in T&L Distributing. The transaction took effect Sept. 30, according to Tom Karol, CEO of T&L Distributing, who announced the deal.

With more than 50 years in flooring and sundry distribution, E.J. Welch’s footprint spans 14 states with 25 locations. T&L Distributing, meanwhile, has been in business more than 40 years, with nine locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Tennessee.

The companies have several common key suppliers, including Tarkett, Raskin Industries, Centaur, Ardex and Taylor Adhesives.
