Weatherford, Texas—ProSource Wholesale, a premier wholesale partner and supplier to trade pros for home and commercial projects, recently raised a total of $153,000 to support the Tarrant Area Food Bank here.

Donations to the food bank came from the ProSource Charity Shootout, which was held on March 31 at Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch in Fort Worth. Representatives from ProSource presented the check to the Tarrant Area Food Bank on May 18. It marked the second consecutive year the group raised money for the food bank after collecting $85,000 in 2022. The contribution comes at a critical time as food banks are suffering supply shortages due to inflation, decreases to pandemic-era programs and federal and state benefits.

“We had a fantastic turnout for the ProSource Charity Shootout and received many generous donations from those who attended the event,” said Brian Frailey, account manager with ProSource of Fort Worth. “We are proud to be able to assist the Tarrant Area Food Bank and the wonderful work it does in supporting families in need throughout the area. This donation comes at a very important time, and we thank everyone who donated to this very worthy cause.”

The ProSource Charity Shootout event was created and hosted by a group that owns four locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area – ProSource of Allen, ProSource of Coppell, ProSource of Dallas Market Center, and ProSource of Fort Worth. In addition to owning those four showrooms in the MetroPlex, the group also operates three additional ProSource locations in Austin, San Antonio and Little Rock, AR with plans for a second showroom in South Austin underway.

ProSource serves the trade pro community and their customers by providing flooring products, kitchen and bath cabinets, countertops, design services, plumbing fixtures, and material supplies. With a team of product and project experts who provide personalized service tailored to your needs, ProSource is the source for project success. More than a home improvement store, ProSource has been a trusted partner for trade professionals and their clients for over three decades.

Covering 13 counties in North Texas, the Tarrant Area Food Bank serves people seeking food assistance including low-wage workers and their families, senior citizens living on fixed incomes, victims of family violence and of disasters, the chronically ill, the severely disabled, the homeless, the under-employed, and the temporarily and long-term unemployed.
