This summer house designed by Kapsimalis Architects is located in Oia, a place known for its “cute” architecture and magical sunsets. The designers took advantage of the organic curves of the dwelling and created sculptural interiors. A twisted exterior stairway connects the two levels of the dwelling.

The word ‘marble’ is derived from the Greek word for ‘shining stone’, aptly describing this masonry dream, which was highly regarded and often used by master painter and sculptor, Michaelangelo. He favoured Carrara marble due to its beauty, white gleam, beautiful reflection qualities and stunning malleability.

From La Jolla, California - a scenic tub design attached to the master bedroom. The Ottawa River House was designed by architect Christopher Simmonds and the bathroom was no exception when he handed out the views. This sunken marble tub really does make one feel bathed in luxury. A fireplace and an ocean view. What a view.

The way this vacation residence was designed every room offers a beautiful view while still having the tranquility and privacy you would want while on vacation. Not only is the bathroom spacious and well-designed, but the view speaks for itself. What really caught our attention from this home in Greece is the sunken marble bathtub.
