Dallas, Texas—HGTV’s “Bargain Mansions” host, Tamara Day, recently voiced her enthusiasm for Daltile’s new RevoTile while installing the product in episode 8 of the show’s Season 3.

Daltile’s RevoTile is a patented, porcelain, snap-together tile floating floor system that is designed to install two times faster than traditional tile. Day selected RevoTile’s Antiquity White porcelain tile for her renovation of a five-thousand-square-foot lakeside home.

“I decided to install this tile throughout the entire house. I love the look, the price and the ease of it,” Day said. “What is so revolutionary about it is that it doesn’t have to be mortared to the floor. It’s actually a floating floor. There’s no mess, and you can grout the same day you lay the tile, which saves a ton of time.  So, we can put this in quickly and it keeps the cost down because it looks like wood without the expense.  Hardwoods run about $17k, but tile for this level is only $9k and you can’t get more durable than a porcelain tile. It’s easy, but it looks gorgeous too.”

Laura Grilli, lead product designer for Daltile, added, “RevoTile’s Antiquity White was a perfect floor for Tamara to select for her redesign. Antiquity White’s natural color, hardwood design and soft texture add a lightness to the home and an overall welcoming atmosphere.”
