salesWoodbury, N.Y.—Stanton Carpet Corporation has made additions to its sales team. Brian Witkin has joined Stanton as Northeast regional vice president. In addition, Dawn Macias, Brian Locklear, Susan Kates and Rachel Preciado have also joined the sales team.

According to the company, Witkin has an impressive career in the flooring industry, most recently as president of North American sales for Aperion Surfaces, and was instrumental in building the company from its inception. Prior to Aperion, Witkin was the executive vice president of sales for Avalon Flooring for six years. During his 19 years of success at Mohawk, Witkin held several key roles including senior vice president of national accounts as well as vice president of sales operations.

“With Brian’s experience and sales leadership ability we look forward to earning more of our customers business and accelerating growth in the Northeast,” said Mitch White, vice president of sales, Stanton. “We’re also extremely excited about our talented new territory manager hires as we set the stage to meet and exceed demand for our products across all categories including hard surface.”

Stanton said Witkin will be an enormous asset to the company as he brings his knowledge, high energy and sales leadership across both hard and soft surface. Witkin will work closely with Stanton’s veteran sales team in the Northeast to expand Stanton’s business there and report directly to White.
