Dallas, Texas—The International Surface Event (TISE) will host its first TISE Live Virtual Event Jan. 26-28 online at TISE Live. TISE Live is a product-focused, virtual experience offering flooring, stone and tile product features and manufacturers, unique content, education and networking opportunities. The digital event is in lieu of its traditional January trade show, which has been moved to June 16-18, 2021, in Las Vegas due conditions surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.

Show organizers promise opportunities for retailers, distributors, architects, designers, builders, contractors, installers, fabricators and remodelers inside TISE Live. TISE Live’s presenting sponsor is Mannington.

Registration, sponsored by Phenix Flooring, is now open. Inside registration attendees will see two options: a TISE Live Virtual Online Pass or a TISE Annual Perks Pass. TISE said it is donating $5 of every paid registration to the attendee’s choice of industry charity featured in registration.

Source products, meet with vendors

Through TISE Live, attendees can connect with and source products from more than 200 flooring, stone and tile industry manufacturers online. Attendees can tour and chat within virtual booths and company profiles, request video meetings or request information via business card drops and be matched by product interest with matching suppliers.

In addition, TISE Live has been designed to be all about product sourcing. Attendees can review the vendor product spotlights and connect directly inside TISE Live with those manufacturers for meetings inside the system.

TISE Tv has also produced product feature videos for the virtual event, specifically for attendees to hear directly from the manufacturers on the highlights, innovations and benefits of their products. Watch as manufacturers introduce their products much like they would right inside their booths at the event. Discover new product introductions and innovation releases while receiving detailed product information directly from suppliers inside the 10-15-minute product video episodes.

Interactive education

TISE Live promises a bevy of educational opportunities. Converge education sessions, for example, will be in included in the virtual event. Topics will range the spectrum of flooring, stone and tile-related subjects for the Creative, Suits and Hammer & Nail categories. No matter the sector, TISE Live said it has an educational opportunity to inspire, educate or train.

Featured program highlights also include several educational webinars for attendees. Topics include: “How to adapt to a changing industry,” “2020: The quirky recovery,” “Locking technologies in the flooring industry—innovations that make a difference,” and “Overcoming the challenges of existing conditions for tile.”

Other activities

In addition to sourcing and education, attendees have the opportunity to dive into trends, virtual tours and some fun activities, according to show organizers. For example, the event will offer virtual home tours. Attendees can virtually tour the Colorful Coastal Property + Iconic Airstream Makeover from Rachel Moriarty; California Calabasas Canyon Wolf Peak Showhome from Jennifer Farrell; and the Million Dollar Modern Highland Park Makeover from Christopher Charles Evans. Each of these designers will walk attendees through their spaces as they discuss their surface material choices and the trends and influences that led to those decisions.
