The family was a single parent with two daughters, age 11 and 4, and a son, age 8. Volunteers from the Philadelphia Liberty USO picked up the wrapped gifts for our “adopted” family…we could barely fit everything in their truck!

Nearing ruins when the project began, the house was built in the last century, with a busy street view and a private back garden connected by 260 square meters of living space.
