The annual Tile of Spain Awards recently awarded first prize in the Interior Design category to “TABA” designed by Ibon Salaberria in San Sebastian, Spain. Located in the city’s old tobacco factory, the winning project is a space that includes a coffee shop, pizza restaurant and wine bar situated on the ground floor of Tabakalera, the city’s new International Center for Contemporary Culture.

Studio Geometrium completed the design of an industrial apartment with a masculine feel in Kotelniki, Russia. This space was specially adapted to meet the needs of the owner, a man with a passion for sports and healthy living. As you step inside, you notice the unconventional layout of this home. The bedroom is located in the middle of the apartment, separated by a glass partition and thin metal columns.

The Pulse: Ardex Americas

ARDEX Americas was a corporate sponsor at the 25th Annual Run for Humanity this past weekend. The event, hosted by the Habitat for Humanity of Beaver County included a 10K run and 5K walk/run. The weather was bright and sunny as participants looped around scenic downtown Beaver and enjoyed the riverfront views. Team ARDEX had a strong showing again this year, and eight of the attendees took home medals!
