Solon, Ohio—Tarkett has introduced six new residential carpet designs, each of which are designed to bring timeless style and comfort to the home. The new designs range from soft and subtle to striking and dramatic.

“After research and watching where other surfaces were going, we really freshened up our offering,” said Amy Jaekel, creative director, Tarkett North America. “We focused on neutralizing the palette so that our color combinations felt calm and not overly toned to one hue or the other.”

Each of the new collections is made with 100% solution-dyed fiber with built-in protection against spills, stains, soil and pets and is protected by a lifetime warranty.

The new styles include:

Arabesque

Inspired by the multi-directional lines and imprecise beauty of handwoven textiles, Arabesque adds a layer of texture with a slightly contemporary feel. It is available in six fashionable shades.

Atlas

With a soft, tonal palette and relaxed, flowing lines, Atlas provides a backdrop of everyday elegance. The collection offers nine neutral shades to support any color scheme.

Cambria

The classic waffle weave of Cambria provides warmth and comfort with maximum design flexibility. The palette includes six styles crafted from a single, neutral tone.

Park Collection

The Park Collection offers a combination of comfort and durability, using Tarkett’s 3-ply Primus PET-DuraSoft Fiber. Three different cut-pile weights are included across the Inman Park, Grant Park and Candler Park series, which add softness throughout the home in nine solution-dyed colors. These designs have built-in resistance to pet stains, soil and spills.

A newly designed feature display is also available to Tarkett dealers to help merchandise the entire new offering in a single unit.

In addition to these new designs, Tarkett has also revamped its residential carpet color line this year to better reflect current design trends. These include an increased focus on true neutrals, as well as cooler grays and even a few surprising hues like a chalky blue, the company said. The new palette was designed to coordinate with multiple wood colors and complement a wider range of styles and preferences.
