Vero Beach, Fla.—CTEF, the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation, has scheduled its first Certified Tile Installer (CTI) hands-on testing event for 2021 at The Carpet & Tile Warehouse here on Saturday Feb. 20, 2021. CTEF provides education and installer certification for professionals working in the ceramic tile and stone industry. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, CTEF has had to cancel all 2020 certification and training events effective March 2020.

Dale Davis. Chattanooga, Tenn.—The board of directors of Xpress Global Systems (XGS) has named Dale Davis interim president and COO, effective Nov. 1, 2020. Currently COO, he replaces Darrel Harris, who has decided to move on from the company after four years as CEO. “Since 2016, Darrel has been instrumental to the success of the organization, and while we will miss his passionate leadership, we wish him the best of luck in his new endeavor,” the company noted in a written statement.
