Hazleton, PA—Forbo is partnering with E.J. Welch Company, one of the fastest-growing flooring distributors in the U.S. Effective immediately, E.J. Welch will represent a selection of commercial vinyl flooring products from Forbo throughout its distribution footprint. Currently, its footprint spans over 26 states, offering close to 45 warehouse locations and 25 ProShops across the central and upper midwest, southwest, southeast and the mountain states.

The partnership expands Forbo’s distribution network, strengthening the company’s ability to respond efficiently to the needs of commercial customers, according to the company. Forbo said it will continue to directly market and distribute its core focus products, such as its flagship Marmoleum sheet and tile linoleum products, its Flotex sheet and tile textile products, its Eternal Wood and Step vinyl products and its Allura HQ Luxury Vinyl Tile products. 

The president of E.J. Welch, Kavita McCarthy, said E.J. Welch customers will benefit from the addition of the Forbo brand through a more comprehensive flooring package. “We are excited for the partnership with Forbo and it’s expansive commercial vinyl product offering. We can now offer our customers a strong stocking position of select Forbo products for immediate availability and on-trend products for project specifications.” 

Dennis Darragh, vice president, Forbo Flooring Systems North America, said Forbo is excited about the new opportunity to work with E.J. Welch. “This partnership allows us to offer even more of Forbo’s flooring products across the midwest, southern and mountain states. E.J. Welch is a very well respected company in the flooring market which owes success to its outstanding customer service and quality product offering.”
