Mixing media is an important trend for the year, and there are so many ways that companies are incorporating it into their collections. Iris Ceramica have released a wall tile collection that offer their own take on this theme. Taking the standard metro tile (a 100 by 300mm format) Blaze offers subtle natural textures contrasted with gloss with stylish results.
The four colour options – Yellow, Pink, Avio, and Grey – are all muted and relatively cool-toned, and with rough, organic-looking visual texture. Each colourway has a corresponding gloss decor, a curved-edge rectangle that leaves a small border on each tile.
The textured gloss decors have a metallic and glassy look with soft ridges and colour variation. Used alone or combined with their plain coloured counterparts in various layouts a dynamic wall design can be created with Blaze. The collection is unique, but not so outside the norm, making it perfect for both commercial and residential spaces looking for a little je ne sais quoi.
