Lancaster, Pa.—Ecore launched its new woven vinyl collection with the introduction of two new surfaces: Ebb and Flow Motivate.

Built on the company’s proprietary itsTRU technology, Ecore said Ebb & Flow Motivate features two 1mm vinyl wear layers fusion-bonded to a 5mm vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) base layer. The new options are designed to provide premium visuals for fitness, office space and public environments while aiming to deliver safety, ergonomic and acoustic benefits.

“What makes Ebb & Flow Motivate unique is that these are the first textured products Ecore has brought to market in the company’s 150-year history,” said Bo Barber, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Ecore. “The woven vinyl collection’s woven surface layer, combined with the VCR Motivate backing, provides optimal performance and safety while offering truly unique textured visuals—interwoven vinyl strands.”

The company said both surfaces are available in six colors, with the Ebb series featuring a structured woven pattern and the Flow series featuring a complex woven pattern that creates an organic visual effect. Designed for cardio, strength, free weight, retail, public and office space areas, Ebb and Flow Motivate is durable, quiet and stain resistant, according to Ecore.

The surfaces were created using Ecore’s patented itsTRU technology, a manufacturing process that starts with rubber that is diverted from landfills and incineration and upcycled into VCR using a pressurized process that fusion bonds the VCR to virtually any flooring surface, Ecore said. The technology develops and captures energy so flooring surfaces can absorb force while returning usable energy back to the people using the surface.
