High Point, N.C.— Karastan Rugs is returning to High Point Market from April 22-26. Here, the brand will showcase its expansive showroom featuring sought-after designs, collaborations with top designers and opportunities to hear from industry leaders. To kick off the spring market, Karastan Rugs will be hosting a design seminar in its destination showroom with the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) and world-renowned designer Stacy Garcia, founder and CEO of Stacy Garcia Home.

Karastan Rugs invites High Point Market attendees to gather in their showroom (IHFC-D-443) on Sunday, April 23, at 1:30 PM for light bites, specialty cocktails while they hear from product and interior designers, Stacy Garcia and David Santiago (IFDA), in conversation with Karastan Rugs’ Tracy Pruitt. During the panel, the three design leaders will explore the rich heritage and range of design and how each interprets that through the lens of modern aesthetics. Using stunning visuals these three design experts will talk about their stylistic influences, technology and innovation in the design space, and what the future holds for sustainability and design.

“We are thrilled to return to High Point Market, where our showroom not only hosts our wide-ranging products, but also acts as a stage for us to host thought-provoking and insightful speakers,” said Tracy Pruitt, vice president of design, Mohawk Home and Karastan Rugs. “Stacy Garcia is a world-renowned pattern and product designer, and Karastan Rugs is excited to host a panel with her and the IFDA where we can share our wealth of design knowledge with our guests.”

Garcia is looking forward to returning to the Karastan Rugs stage. “I have a rich history in the industry, and through my collaboration with Karastan Rugs, which has 90 years of experience as the leading luxury manufacturer, we have created two amazing collections, Rendition and Depiction. I am thrilled to share the thoughts behind the designs with High Point Market attendees.”
