The unique appearance of this line is inspired by Portuguese atlantic dark limestone, a natural, earthen material found only in the Mediterranean, according to the company. Washington, D.C.—Single-family starts showed continued growth in September as overall housing production increased 1.9% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.42 million units, according to a report from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Census Bureau. The September reading of 1.42 million starts is the number of housing units builders would begin if they kept this pace for the next 12 months.

Dalton—In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Emily Morrow Finkell, CEO of Emily Morrow Home and 17-year survivor of breast cancer, has pledged to start and fund the new EMF Grant Fund at the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF). The fund will help support floor covering families when one of the family members has a catastrophic medical condition and a child who is a college-bound high school senior or already in college.
